Michigan’s Biggest Independent Triathlon

June 7 & 8, 2025: Two days of racing for experienced and beginner triathletes alike!

Located in picturesque Ada, Michigan, Grand Rapids Triathlon (GRTri) has been a must-attend event since 2011 and has been voted one of the top five best beginner triathlons in the country. This USA Triathlon-sanctioned event has served as both a national and state championship race.

The event takes place over an entire weekend and is known for its fast, flat course. Saturday features Super Sprint and Sprint distances, which are perfect for beginners. Sunday hosts both Olympic and Half distances for seasoned triathletes. Additionally, GRTri offers duathlon, aquabike, relay, and swim-only events.
